1366’s Grooved Ribbon busbar 1366 Technologies’ Grooved Ribbon™ busbar increases module efficiency by up to 0.3% by capturing 80% of the photocurrent from light that strikes the busbar—far better than the 5% recovered by a standard interconnect wire. The grooved surface of the busbar steers incoming light back to the glass/air interface, allowing the light to undergo total internal reflection.
